Lumity operate two sites on the Shopify platform, one US- and one UK-oriented. Without in-house technical expertise, the sites had been updated and maintained by various developers over time – meaning there was no clear documentation explaining how the sites hung together.
Also, with the sites laser-focused on generating sales of single products and subscriptions, there was a need to objectively analyse their performance.
New Now were engaged to conduct a technical audit, documenting the software and processes underpinning the sites. This gives a clear picture for any third parties undertaking further development or support of the sites going forward.
In addition, we analysed the funnels for conversions and identified where there could be issues in the flow impacting on sales. We also measured the sites’ mobile performance, identifying areas for improvement.
